"I have forgiven My servant"
nonchalante:
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, relating from His Lord (Glorified and Exalted be He):
A servant committed a sin and said, ‘O Allaah! Forgive me my sin,’ and He (Blessed and Exalted be He) said, ‘My servant has committed a sin, but he knows that he has a Lord Who forgives sin and punishes for sin.’ Then he sinned again and said, ‘O my Lord! Forgive me my sin,’ and He...

al-musaafirah:
Questioner: Specifically with regards to Salat Al-Istikhaara, how do we know the signs of its result? And is it permissible it make Istikhara for everything or is it only for specific things?

Raising the hands and wiping the face in Qunoot
ilikeireblog:
Shaykh al-Albaani says in his commentary:
And raising the two hands in the (supplication of) qunoot for a naajilah [1] [2] has been established from the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) in his supplication against the mushrikeen (polytheists) who killed the seventy recitors (of the Qur’aan).
Imaam Ahmad narrated it (3/137) and at-Tabaraanee in ‘As-Sagheer’ (p....

Save Your Heels
bibimbop-salafi:
Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr: Once, the Prophet remained behind us in a journey. He joined us while we were performing ablution for the prayer which was over-due. We were just passing wet hands over our feet (and not washing them properly), so the Prophet addressed us in a loud voice and said twice or thrice: “Save your heels from the fire.” Bukhari, Book 1, Volume 3, Hadith...

sunnah-or-later:
Ibn Taymiyyah (d.728H) was asked, “What is said concerning a person who is inconsistent with the supererogatory Sunnah prayers?”
